The Greater Wildwood Jaycees are a group of volunteers who raise funds all year in order to provide the Wildwoods’ residents of all ages with fun activities. The funds we raise help us defray the costs of our Annual Easter Egg Hunt, our Bonfire on the Beach, our Business Holiday Decorating Contest, our Christmas Parade and free craft tables at the Family Holiday Celebration. These free events are made possible not only through our fundraising activities but also thanks to generous contributions from local businesses. Here are some of these generous supporters:
GWITDA and the Wildwoods Convention Center also provides volunteers and allows meetings to be held in its facility. They provide the venue for our wonderful festival. The Wildwoods Convention Center staff also contributes to the festivities by riding in the parade.
Crest Savings Bank supports us in many ways. First by permitting employees to plan community events during work hours. The bank provides promotional help as well as substantial monetary gifts to help the Jaycees hold successful events. Finally, the bank puts a large festive float in the parade.
Coastal Broadcasting supports us with free advertising and promotion on both their stations; 98.7 the Coast and Fun 106.3. They also take part in the parade by providing a float.
